About our class:

If you are looking to obtain your child care license, acquire a new facility license, or would like to certify new staff, we offer the 8-hour EMSA California Preventive Health and Safety training. This training, which is required by Community Care Licensing, is EMSA approved and includes the required nutrition and Lead Poisoning Prevention (LPP) training. Child Care Facilities are required to have one person on-site at all times with proof of approved health and safety training.

Topics covered include infectious diseases, childhood injury prevention, caring for children with special needs, child abuse identification and reporting, childcare nutrition, and Lead Poisoning Prevention Training.

Additional Info:

• Upon successfully completing the class, your certification card, along with your EMSA CPR and first aid stickers, will be distributed to you on the same day.
